Are you ready to bust some (most common) myths about prefabricated houses that often appear? If you have doubts about their durability, price, or quality, read our answers. We’ll show you that a prefabricated home can be a great choice.

VWatch out for comments! Or homes made of cotton candy?
Today, it's very easy to express an opinion on anything, especially on social media. And we totally understand that. Sometimes the urge to express oneself outweighs the knowledge of the topic. So, we decided to focus on the most frequent, let’s say, "creative" comments that appear under our posts. Prepare yourself for facts and responses with a bit of our typical humor.
"The wind will blow and blow your house away."
First, we’d like to clarify that our house is not an inflatable castle or a Lego model. It has a massive steel structure and weighs, just for reference, more than 8 tons (and our Soft Home even weighs up to 19 tons!). If a wind came that could move our building, you’d have to wonder if your masonry house is still standing. Such wind would turn a masonry building into cotton candy and damage it statically much more. Our buildings are more statically resistant than most masonry homes, so static damage (whether from wind or an earthquake) is really unlikely. Your ego might not handle it, but our house certainly will.
"A downpour and water, and your house will be gone."
We understand that for some people it might be difficult to differentiate between a raft and a family home, but let us reassure you: we don’t build rafts! We build prefabricated family homes. If you’re used to huge villas, our spacious, lively buildings might seem unusual. But if a client wants to buy a similarly sized apartment, why not choose a house with a plot of land and water that certainly won’t wash it away? Unless, of course, you live on a houseboat.
"A house for the price of an apartment? What about utilities and land! In the end, it’s more expensive!"
Oh, we love our "know-it-alls" who appear on social media. It’s probably just a small miscalculation. No matter how you calculate it, our buildings with land are still cheaper or just as cost-effective as a similarly sized apartment. You need to keep in mind that when comparing it with an apartment, we also have to factor in the cost of land. An apartment doesn’t have any land, so we won’t be focusing on a 2000 m² plot. For example, EMIKO 50 m² needs only a 300 m² plot, and Soft Home 90 m² requires about 450 m². This gets us to a reasonable price. If we calculate the price of EMIKO 50 m² (around €50,000), add land for €35,000 and utilities and work for €10,000, the total price of €95,000 guarantees you a home with the advantages of a family house. For comparison, a 50-65 m² apartment costs from €90,000 to €135,000. New builds, where 45 m² apartments cost €145,000 in "shell" condition, we won’t even compare. Conclusion? Our house is still more cost-effective than a similarly sized apartment, even with the land. And, most importantly, you no longer have a neighbor next door who starts renovation at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays (real story). Try calculating it, you might be surprised.
"WHAT A FAIL, A CONTAINER HOUSE." – commented Mrs. Maria (profile photo: bouquet)
That’s fine, last time we had a similar comment from a man with sausages in his profile picture. Our buildings are not container houses, nor do they resemble them. They are prefabricated family homes. If you wanted us to build a prefabricated steel construction home on your plot, it wouldn’t look any different. These are dignified homes, with higher interior ceilings (3 meters) than standard apartments or houses. If you’re looking for something resembling a container house, we must disappoint you. We only offer proper homes that could easily compete in architectural contests. And Maria, the bouquet suits you, but we’re better at homes.
"HOW ABOUT UTILITIES?"
Another comment that should probably be a direct question to us. I’m not sure exactly what this question means – “How are the utilities? Where are they? How are they done?” I’ll answer as I understand it.
Utilities (water, sewage, electricity) need to be prepared on the plot if you want to connect them to the building. Connection is made at designated points. You’ll get the connection points in the plan when purchasing. And utilities? They’re neatly prepared on the plot where they should be.
"ONE KICK IN THE WALL AND THERE’S A HOLE LIKE A GRANATE." – wrote Milan
Milan, I don’t know and don’t want to know how you live at home and what your walls and doors look like. But we must say we thought about this, in case someone with an IQ like "Milan’s" decides to kick the wall. Our buildings aren’t cheap timber houses with drywall and mineral wool behind it. In our buildings, the walls are prefabricated and durable. After a "kick", you’d be 0:1 against the wall. And honestly, why would you, for heaven’s sake, kick the wall?
"THE QUALITY, AND YET EVERYTHING CHEAP FROM POLAND."
Interesting perspective, especially from someone who can estimate the quality of floors, walls, and construction from a picture... Many of the components we use are specially designed for our buildings. If I had to break it down by country, the materials we have in stock mostly come from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Germany. And yes, even from Poland, although the products from Poland are not cheap. We use the best products we would choose for our own homes. And honestly, I don’t think this needs defending. Anyone who comes to see our homes will experience a “wow” effect. And that effect certainly won’t be caused by “cheap materials”, as orders and sales speak otherwise. So, if you don’t believe it, come and see for yourself. We’ll gladly show you that our “Poland” is actually first-class.
"I’m happy to follow you, you do great work!"
It’s hard to believe we’re reading this right. We really appreciate comments like this! We’re just people who stand behind their work and their workers. That’s why we respond adequately to negativity, but what do we do when someone is nice and good? Thank you for being here! Thank you for teaching us to be better through your behavior. With humility, thank you! You are the ones who give us energy and motivation.
